Private-Public Partnerships: Rise Against Hunger collaborates with DOH & Miss Universe Organization

Over 50 Miss Universe contestants together with local and international volunteers will pack meals in support of the DOH’s First 1000 Days advocacy. This is in connection with the Memorandum of Agreement signed between the Department of Health (DOH) and Rise against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now) in order to provide diet supplements for pregnant women in their First 1000 Days at the start of their pregnancy, during lactation, and up to two years of their child’s life in selected areas in the country.
