Volunteers on the Frontlines: EveryONE's Greatness of Spirit

The Philippine Coalition on Volunteerism (PhilCV) partnered again with Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF) to celebrate "Volunteers on the Frontlines: EveryONE's Greatness of Spirit", held on September 1, 2017 at the RMAF Center in Manila. 

The event was truly an Asian tribute and recognition of volunteerism with the 2017 RMAwardees and local volunteers. The 2017 RMAF Awardees (except for Lilia De Lima) shared their experiences working on their chosen advocacies, and highlighted the unique contributions of volunteers toward achieving their development projects/programs. Volunteers from SCA Volunteers (student leaders) from Cebu and Young Bridging Leaders Zamboanga, Leyte (PETA beneficiary), Manila (FMM and Escolta Revival Movement) and NCR (ArtZone) responded by sharing the learnings and volunteering initiatives with their respective regions.

PhilCV Chair, Dr. Grace Aguiling-Dalisay (VOICE Network) presented the Volunteer Opportunities (Map) with PhilCV's nineteen (19) Members (volunteer involving-organizations) and this was followed by Breakout Sessions with the RMAF Awardees, where volunteers and PhilCV delegates participated (photos from RMAF below):
